Our curriculum is designed to meet students where they are in their development and build upon that foundation. During their time with us, students will participate in discussion and activities shaped around various curriculum themes designed to build confidence in social, living, and work-readiness skills. Our students will have the skills to live interdependently, be prepared to obtain competitive employment, and/or to pursue post-secondary education options.
Curriculum Themes
Wellness: What does it mean to "be well"? These courses will develop skills to enhance physical and emotional well-being in addition to improving resiliency.
Community Navigation: Students will learn and operate with the various options available for navigating the community and the various linkages to services and groups necessary to improve well-being and interdependence.
Social Relationships: Students will explore the enduring association based on interactions and other types of social commitments.
Civic Responsibility: What does it mean to vote? Are there ways for me to volunteer? Why is this important? Can I make a difference?
Residential Living: Students will experience the feeling of "my space" and "shared space", living with a roommate, and living within an inclusive, integrated community environment.

Independent Living Practicum
After completion of each curricular theme, students will become eligible to reside in a apartment within the community as part of our integrated and natural-setting approach to our living skills curriculum. This 12-18 month practicum will help prepare students to live independently.
Students will have 1-3 roommates depending on the size of the apartment.
