Fee Schedule Definitions
- Secondary (Service Provider):
Any student who is enrolled in a secondary school district and whose district contracts transition services with NTC. - Integrated:
Integrated courses are existing, scheduled, quarterly NTC courses that include both secondary and post-secondary students. - Non-Integrated:
Non-Integrated courses are stand-alone courses that would include secondary students only. The minimum enrollment is six students and can be shared amongst other districts. Course offerings will remain the same for each quarter, but the day and time of the class would be mutually agreed upon by school district(s) and instructor. Limited by instructor availability. - Post-Secondary
Any student who has graduated secondary school or completed secondary transition education. - Credit Recovery:
A tool available to students who need to recover course objectives to improve an overall course grade of “Emerging”. This tool will be considered only if less than half the course objectives need recovery AND recovery is necessary because of attendance-related issues. Program Director approval is required. - Independent Study:
Instructor will post material; student will review presentation and supplemental materials and complete the work adhering to timelines. Student will self-advocate when support is needed, and periodic check-ins will be mandatory to review material. Probationary status is granted to each student during their first approved independent study and is released upon successful completion. Students may not partake in more than two independent studies per quarter after probationary status has been overcome. Program Director approval is required. - 1:1 Instruction:
This instruction equates to private one-on-one instruction. Instructor would present all material in a manner similarly done in a classroom with multiple registrants. This option would necessitate alterations in classroom pedagogy, as our curriculum is not specifically designed for 1:1 instruction. This option will be considered only in exceptional circumstances and limited to instructor availability. Program Director approval is required.
